Over on the Nev forum there was a post that said that the exhaust downpipes on the Pioneer were twin walled. Is this the same on the Regal Rapter ?

If you succeed without having to try hard, you have failed.
If you fail but have tried hard, you have succeeded.

yep, when removing my cats, i noticed that they are twin walled. outside diameter is 38mm, inside goes down to about 10 or 15mm diameter!!! i didn't care used old pipes and just welded in the straight section a iabbtered the cats out of, and they work fine, (although the straight section is now discolouring).

I was thinking ages ago about getting some pipe and bending it to the same dimensions as the standard pipe then I would have the same diameter straight down, But it is beyond a normal pipe bender so as soon as I find someone that has a automated one I'm having whole pipes made.

when i get myself sorted with the tools, i'll be getting more adventurous with the metalworking. straight through single pieces would be nice, but will be concentrating more on the accessory and bodywork side of things.
