Duplicated from Pioneer Nevada section as the engine's are similar

This is real easy on these bikes, so Iím not even going to put pictures! Lol
take your bike out for a ride to warm up the engine,
put the bike on its center stand, under the bike you'll see a bolt , it's a big one you canít miss it, this is the oil drain bolt. Put a try or something to catch the oil under it, and take out the bolt, oil will drain out. Keep some kitchen towels with you your going to need em!
Take out the dipstick, clean it, and put it back in to make sure all the oil has come out.
on the left side of the bike (left while sitting on the bike) behind the shifter linkage there is another large bolt, undo this bolt and remove the spring and oil filter inside, give them a clean with a bit of soapy water, and rinse them well, and put them back in, by this time the oil should have dripped it self dry, so replace the oil drain bolt. Refill the oil with fresh 10w40 motorcycle oil, you refill where the dip stick goes. 1Lt only! Too much oil can be just as bad as not enough!
I get my oil from halfords, they have a cool little funnel built in to there bottles so you donít make a mess, this is the stuff http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stor ... yId_165507
and at 8.99 there is no reason this cant be done every time it needs it. And it only takes about 25 mins.
